Future Veneers at Dr.Ehab’s Dental Clinic,Dubai

Porcelain Veneers in Dubai is one of the most requested cosmetic treatments among the patients in Dubai.

But some of the patients are not yet educated well before doing the first step in this cosmetic procedure of smile makeover.

Over the last 30 years the Porcelain veneers procedure is developed more ever before. New types of porcelain veneers becomes stronger and it is able to reflect the light similarly to dental enamel.

There are some cases when you will need to consider before you go through the porcelain veneer procedure: if your teeth are cracked, misalign, cracked, discolored, gaps between the teeth, you have a chipped teeth. Then in one of these cases you can go for this cometic procedure.

The latest porcelain veneers are super thin and it will required less enamel removal, and even in some case patient does not need to do any teeth preparation.

Signs That Veneers May Not Be the Right Choice

As stated above, patients must have healthy teeth and gums to qualify for dental veneers. Patients with conditions such as tooth decay, gum disease, and root canal infection typically do not qualify for veneers. However, after a dentist successfully treats these issues, patients are usually cleared for cosmetic enhancement. Those who are considering porcelain veneers should remember that the procedure is typically a permanent one. Because the dentist usually removes a layer of enamel before attaching the porcelain, patients will eventually need to replace their veneers or choose an alternative restoration to take their place. Therefore, no one should receive veneers unless they are certain about their decision. Some patients who habitually grind their teeth and clinch their jaw may be disqualified from receiving veneers. Although dental porcelain is quite strong and durable, the forces of bruxism can put incredible strain on veneers, causing them to break or come off entirely. In many cases, however, a dentist may be able to treat the underlying causes of bruxism, eventually enabling patients to receive veneers. Additionally, newly developed dental materials allow ceramists to create stronger restorations that may be suitable for such patients.

The secrets of Teeth Whitening in Dubai

Close up of woman's smile with white teeth

Want Brighter, Whiter Teeth?

Have your pearly whites lost their luster because of dingy gray or yellow stains? Stained teeth can occur as we age, but some common foods, drinks, and even mouthwashes can stain teeth. Do-it-yourself remedies can help whiten teeth, and avoiding substances that stain teeth can stop further discoloration. Use these secrets to whiter teeth to restore your bright smile.

Do-It-Yourself Teeth Whitening

You may be able to get rid of superficial stains by yourself. A number of at-home tooth-whitening products — kits, strips, toothpastes, and rinses– may lighten stains. There are even some old-fashioned remedies you can try. Tooth-whitening products available on drugstore shelves use mild bleach to brighten yellow teeth. Toothpastes use abrasives and chemicals to remove surface stains. For deep stains, you may need a dentist’s help.

Home Whitening Strips

Tooth-whitening strips will help get rid of tooth stains. These strips are very thin, virtually invisible, and are coated with a peroxide-based whitening gel. You wear them a few minutes daily for a week or more. Results are visible in just a few days, and last at least a year. The results with strips are not as dramatic as with whitening kits, but the strips are easy to use and pretty much foolproof.

Whitening Toothpastes and Rinses

How to get stains off your teeth? Over-the-counter toothpastes, gels, and rinses help remove some surface stains. Many of these products contain mild abrasives, chemicals, or polishing agents. Unlike bleaches, they don’t change the natural colour of teeth.

Home Remedies for Whiter Teeth

Some people still prefer the age-old home remedy of baking soda and a toothbrush to gently whiten teeth at home. Also, some foods such as celery, apples, pears, and carrots trigger lots of saliva, which helps wash away food debris on your teeth. Chewing sugarless gum is a tooth-cleansing action and also triggers saliva. A bonus from all that saliva: It neutralizes the acid that causes tooth decay. With teeth, more saliva is better all around.

How does Microscopic Root Canal Works?

At Dr.Ehab’s Dental Clinic,Dubai we always hear patients says ” One of my friends did a root canal and then after some time he pulled out his tooth. Does really Root canal Treatment works? Although Root canal procedure can have some percentage of failure but it still can be successful and it can save your tooth for life.

This article will discuss the possibilities of having a successful root canal treatment and reasons why it is fails.

The Main reason why Root Canal Treatment fails is a bacteria. If our mouths were sterile there would be no decay or infection, and damaged teeth could, in ways, repair themselves.  So although we can attribute nearly all root canal failure to the presence of bacteria, I will discuss five common reasons why root canals fail, and why at least four of them are mostly preventable.

Although initial root canal treatment should have a success rate between 85% and 97%, depending on the circumstance, about 30% of my work as an Endodontist consists of re-doing a failing root canal that was done by someone else.  Root canals often fail for the following five reasons:

  1. Missed canals.
  2. Incompletely treated canals – short treatment due to ledges, complex anatomy, lack of experience, or lack of attention to quality.
  3. Remaining tissue.
  4. Fracture.
  5. Bacterial post-treatment leakage.

Our Endodontist Dr.Saif Nagm always recommend to place the Crown on top of Root Canal Treated tooth, He advice every patient to do this in order to safe the tooth from any crack.

The best way the patient can prevent the failure of Root Canal is to carefully choose the Endodontist who works with the professional Root Canal Material and the latest state of the art technology Dental Microscope.

At Dr.Ehab’s Dental Clinic, Dubai we Only use Microscope while performing root canal treatment which gives us the high success rate in treating our Root Canal Patient.
